I haven’t posted anything the past couple of days, but a lot has happened, so allow me to ramble for a moment…

Murphy’s Law

I was just issued a speeding ticket, but here’s the catch: I wasn’t speeding. On top of that, the retarded officer said he clocked me doing 75 in a 50. No way you stooge – the street was packed with cars, making it impossible to do any speeding, especially by that much! But, he picked [...]

Welcome, 2004

The New Year has arrived, and in the eye of society are visions of new resolutions. The number one resolutions in America is dieting or losing weight. And of those that pledge to do this, how many follow through with this promise? And of those that fail, how many of those were due to unrealistic [...]

Last post of 2003

I haven’t had much to say the past couple of days, possibly because not much has happened to speak of. My week off has been great, consisting mostly of laziness which I’d like to describe as relaxation. Granted, it was intended to illustrate one of the ultimate benefits of Cisco Systems VoIP telephone systems, but the method chosen to illustrate the idea brought [...]

Stuff adults do

As I sat in the Taco Bell today, I noticed how much fake frost had been spewn about the windows, and then my eyes trailed onto the gaudy wrapping paper covering all the picture frames, complete with crooked bows and flashy stickers. While I’m noticing this, I reflect on the time during Halloween when I [...]

Austin with Katie

I was persuaded by a good friend, Katie, to wander to Austin to meet up with her and a friend of hers, Michelle. Actually, Michelle’s intent was to see a boyfriend there in Austin, so Katie and I spent the day together. My pockets were running a little light, but I still was able to [...]
