Christmas with family

One of the best Xmas get-togethers I’ve ever shared was with family this weekend. It was just “us” — Mom, Sam, Jonathan, Jacyra and me. We were all particularly happy to have Jacyra join us — it was the first time we’ve all been together since, well, you know what.

My first Ener-Tel Christmas party

Last night I attended the Ener-Tel company X-mas party. Jacyra wasn’t able to join me as she had to work. But the party was so entertaining, in fact, that I really wished she’d have been there to enjoy it.

Beloved neighbor may pass away (UPDATED)

I was informed this morning that a well-respected neighbor would pass away today. My uncle Steve called me to let me know that Norma was hospitalized for pneumonia, but may not survive it. While I didn’t know Norma as well as Steve and Diana did, I had been in her company a few times and [...]

She’s in Boston

Even though I could not go, Jacyra decided to perform her family duties and help her father. That act only requires one day, so the rest of the week she’ll spend without me, and I without her.

What next?

So I saw the doctor today, making three total visits to the same family practitioner. During my first visit, she hinted quite strongly about me being depressed, which is causing all these symptoms. How absurd! I, of all people, cannot possibly be depressed! Stressed, sure… what person in their early twenties isn’t stressed? But I [...]

Webiniscing

Now and then, I poke around my own weblog just to browse through the entries spanning over the years. I choose an entry here and there to read, and I am taken back to another moment in time.
